Wrinkles & Fine Lines

Wrinkles and fine lines are common signs of aging that appear on the skin. They are associated with the natural aging process, but their development can be influenced by various factors, including genetics, sun exposure, lifestyle, and skincare practices.

  • Wrinkles

Wrinkles are folds, creases, or ridges in the skin that develop over time. They are a natural part of the aging process and are primarily caused by a combination of factors:

    • Decreased collagen and elastin
    • Reduced skin cell turnover
    • Exposure to UV radiation

Wrinkles can be categorized into two main types:

    1. Dynamic wrinkles
    2. Static wrinkles
  • Fine Lines

Fine lines are smaller, shallower wrinkles that are often the early signs of aging. They are generally less deep and pronounced than wrinkles. Fine lines can appear on various areas of the face, including around the eyes (crow's feet), mouth, and forehead.
